In this age of boobie jiggle physics and advanced "I-can-almost-see-it" lighting and clothing scantness, it is apalling that they absolutely refuse to give us camel toe!

This is my new favorite post of all time. Hands down. Best... Post... Ever...

But my guess for the blocky leg was no one really thought someone would stare at their character's ass long enough while dead to notice. Personally, I look at what my team mates are doing.

Consistency is up to the artist. Just look up UV maps of various meshes. Everyone approaches each piece differently.

The Ranger Studded Leather skirt used the cheap/easy way out.

It should be fixed, but i doubt its high on the priority list.

Possibly. Dont know how Anet handles these decisions of how each model will be modeled, but the Ranger studded behaves more like a piece of warrior fow than a mesmer dress. Which is a big no no!

i think the ranger leather dress is the only blocky dress of all the various dresses in gw...seems the modeling on that is overlooked ...

agreed. The rangers generally dont wear dresses and perhaps a different artist worked on say...elementalist or mesmer armors. Thats my bet.

I had actually been considering buying the 15k leather studded, for my ranger, in addition to her fow, but seeing the block ass, i might pass it over and just get the stats on another fow instead.

You could get the Tyrian leather armor (Reyna's outfit, minus the mid-drift cut) with any the +vs lightning stats in cantha, thats kinda cute too.

^^; nothing at all.....

But FoW warrior armor is supposed to be metal. So its modeled in a way so thats its solid chunks, because it doesnt need to flow or bend like cloth.

Compare that to most Elementalist robes, where they model underwear and have polygon "cloth" draped over it it.

Thats why im making the comparison. Ranger studded skirt is treated more like metal armor than a skirt/dress.
